A local landmark for more than a century this old wooden church was reduced to a charred foundation on May 23, 2018.

Originally built in 1884 the church burnt to the ground in 1948. It was rebuilt in 1949 and remained a landmark throughout the years standing on a peninsula in Long Lake. The building slowly fell into disrepair and was closed in 1997, but remained in the hearts of Greenstone residents who passed by the church daily. On May 23, 2018 fire again engulfed the building and all that remains is the concrete foundation of the old church.
