Snow squalls beyond the Thunder Bay Main Lighthouse made for a beautiful morning.

I was reminded on this particular morning that you can never be sure of what Mother Nature has in store. I was hoping for beautiful sunrise light, but as the sun rose a cloud blocked it. I contemplated packing up and heading home, but the fast moving squalls over the lake kept me interested. As the sun rose higher I watched a band of snow move towards the sun as it passed behind the Thunder Bay Main Lighthouse. My reward for waiting and having patience was a beautiful glow and a great sky.
